Nikolaos Bakatselos is currently the Managing Director of Pyramis Metallourgia A.E., a family-owned, Greek multinational company in Thessaloniki that produces and trades kitchen products, bathroom products, and home solar panels. He is also Managing Director of Pyramis Deutschland GmbH in Germany, and a Member of the Board of Directors of Pyramis Polska Sp. z.o.o., a Pyramis subsidiary in Poland. As Managing Director, Mr. Bakatselos specializes in operations management, manufacturing, strategic planning, international sales, and product development. He has served as Managing Director at Pyramis Metallourgia since 2009 when he succeeded his father, Pyramis founder, Alexandros Bakatselos (1932-2016). Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, he was Deputy Managing Director for one year and Export Sales Director for 4 years. As Deputy Managing Director and Export Sales Director, Mr. Bakatselos was responsible for the establishment and management of Pyramis’ network of subsidiaries. Additionally, Mr. Nikolaos Bakatselos has held executive and non-executive positions on various boards of financial institutions, non-financial institutions, and NGOs. He is currently the Vice President of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and President of the Northern Greece Committee, where he is involved in organizing conferences and seminars to highlight business issues and meet with key international political and economic decision makers. Mr. Bakatselos is also a Member of the Board of Directors of Attica Bank, and serves on the Board of Directors and Steering Committee of the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (SVVE). From 2006 until 2014, Mr. Bakatselos served on the Steering Committee of the International Hellenic University. Mr. Bakatselos was also previously a Member of the Board and President of the Northern Greece Committee of the Hellenic Management Association (EEDE), and a Member of the Board of Directors of Northern Greece Publishing SA, a newspaper and broadcast publishing corporation.
