Secondary Administrative Officer - Pinewood
Overview of the Position
The Secondary Administrative Officer is responsible for specific tasks related to the Secondary School. The Officer is an organized person with the ability to multitask the many responsibilities of the position. The Secondary Administrative Officer will embrace the mission, vision, and core values of the school.
Scope of the Position
S/he is part of the Administrative team and reports to the Secondary Principal and the IB Coordinator
The hours of the position are between 8:30 to 16:30 throughout the fiscal year and with required evening and/or weekend hours.
Secondary Administrative Officer Responsibilities
- Support the Secondary Principal and IB Coordinator with daily operations of the Secondary School division
Receive and manage all phone calls directed to the Secondary School division
Communicate with parents, teachers, students as needed/directed
Monitor and follow up on student attendance
Copy and scan documents
Manage student, teacher and parents accounts in the Student Information System
Order and distribute supplies for the Secondary division
Assist Secondary Principal and IB Coordinator in scheduling and preparation of examinations, of field trips and events
Actively participate in all evening activities
- Degree in related or relevant field to the position
Two or more years of successful experience
Excellent working knowledge of English and Greek
Experience in the educational field is a plus
Computer proficiency, especially in Word, Excel and the use of computer programs
