Anatolia College at the 26th DSA MUN
Fourteen Anatolia High School students, accompanied by advisor Foteini Papantoniou and chaperone Dimitris Papadamou, embarked on a journey to Athens to participate in the 26th Annual MUN Conference hosted by the Deutsche Schule Athens.
The trip began with an exciting exploration of the historic landmarks and vibrant Athenian neighborhoods before the real work began. Representing Japan and Tunisia, our students assumed the roles of diplomats, putting their extensive research and critical thinking skills into action by crafting motions and resolutions that focused on the theme of Ethics.
They engaged in lively debates covering a wide spectrum of topics. These ranged from evaluating the effectiveness of nuclear-free weapon zones to discussing issues related to war crimes, tackling the manipulation of mass and social media, and scrutinizing the election processes. In the midst of these discussions, they maintained an unwavering commitment to uphold the policies and positions of the countries they represented while fostering meaningful dialogues.
