Ms. Stella Asderi, Library Assistant, Bissell Library is attending the 17th Annual Conference for Academic Libraries in Ioannina on September, 24-26, 2008.

Ms. Asderi’s research presentation focuses on an evaluation of Web search engines:  four international (google.com, altavista.com, exalead.com, yahoo.com) and four Greek (google.gr, in.gr, find.gr, robby.gr) and an investigation of user’s satisfaction with retrieved results. The research is based upon the DEVISE evaluation system of CERLIM (research group of Manchester Metropolitan University), 2001.
