€1,9 Million EU Research Grant to Anatolia/ACT
Anatolia has been awarded a 3 year research grant from the European Commission for the project “2nd European Network for the Advancement of Artificial Cognitive Systems, Interaction and Robotics” – EUCogII –, which will develop specific challenges for artificial intelligence in the decades to come.
This grant is the result of an initiative by Dr. Vincent C. Müller, philosophy professor at ACT, who will now lead a consortium of nine European universities in the project: Anatolia/ACT, Baleares, Bochum, Brussels, Groningen, Hamburg, Skövde, Sussex, and Zürich. Dr. Müller also registered Anatolia College as a validated recipient for EU funding under the “7th Research Framework Programme.”
More information on the project is available at http://www.eucognition.org - and we will report on developments in later issues of the Magazine.
