The process of science and tools for teaching science for Primary Education

This workshop was provided by Mr. Dave Fish and Mrs. Olga Michalopoulos from the Perimeter Institute of Canada.

The goal of the workshop was to introduce practices that promote the inquiry approach in natural sciences and encourage the use of the STEM approach in specific scientific topics, as well as to apply these practices to lesson plans.

The Perimeter Institute is a leading center for scientific research, training and educational outreach in fundamental theoretical physics. Located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Its mission is to advance our understanding of the universe at its most fundamental level, inciting the discoveries that could transform our future.

Perimeter Outreach educators train the next generation of educators through innovative programs and share the excitement and wonder of science with students, educators and the general public.

The aim of this particular workshop was to introduce practices that promote the inquiry approach in natural sciences and to present this approach in the context of specific scientific topics, as well as to apply these practices through lesson plans.
