STEAM Education and Digital Tools for Sustainable Development

The Anatolia College STEM Center, in collaboration with the Kassandra Center for Educational Excellence (KCEE), is organizing a free training workshop for primary education teachers titled "STEAM Education and Digital Tools for Sustainable Development."

The event will take place in Greek on Thursday, February 15, 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00, at the Eleftheriades Library, Anatolia College.

Workshop Objectives

  • Familiarize teachers with the concepts of STEAM education.
  • Present and practically apply digital tools that promote sustainable development.
  • Enhance innovation and sustainability through teaching practices.

The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Iro Koliakou, STEM Center Coordinator at Anatolia College, who will also present the outcomes of the European Erasmus+ program "We Are Europe SD." During the presentation, participants will explore an innovative digital game designed for elementary school students, focusing on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the concept of European Citizenship.
