Anatolia College’s 20th Model United Nations Conference
February 21-23, 2025
Greetings from Thessaloniki, Greece! On behalf of the entire Secretariat, I am delighted to extend a heartfelt invitation to the jubilee 20th Anatolia College Model United Nations (ACMUN) conference from February 21 to 23, 2025, on Anatolia’s campus.
ACMUN is an internationally recognized event for high school students aged 14 to 18. Our affiliation with and endorsement from THIMUN ensures that we uphold the highest international Model United Nations standards.
Our jubilee conference offers an unparalleled opportunity for high school students to engage in discussions on global issues, build confidence, and gain a comprehensive introduction to diplomacy. As we celebrate our 20th conference, we are committed to delivering an exceptional event that continues our tradition of fostering diplomatic debate, raising awareness of critical issues, and empowering the young leaders of tomorrow.
This year we are introducing a new committee: the United States Presidential Cabinet. As 2024 is an election year, we want students to experience high-stakes decision-making and dynamic leadership in our Presidential Cabinet simulation, where you can step into the shoes of top government officials to tackle real-world crises.
ACMUN also features five General Assembly committees and some specialized committees, including the Security Council, ECOSOC, C40 Cities, the International Court of Justice, the EU Council of Ministers, and the Historical Committee.
Registration for the 20th ACMUN conference will go live in September! For more information on the registration process, deadlines, and fees, please refer to the ACMUN Administrative Handbook. We strongly encourage schools to take advantage of our early registration offer, available until October 31, 2024! The late registration deadline is November 29, 2024.
Experienced delegates (grades 11-12) are invited to apply for student officer positions, with applications due by October 21, 2024. Additionally, specialized committees such as the Historical Committee and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) require special applications. The ICJ seeks advocates and judges through an online process.
