8th Annual Charity 3K Run Anatolia’s 8th Annual Charity 3K Run was a tremendous success this year. This year’s donations went to SYZOI, an organization that helps children who are blind or have seeing disabilities as well as physical disabilities. Two SYZOI children visited Anatolia on the day of the run to support the runners and award the winners. The money raised by the school totaled 3020 euros. 430 participants –high school, IB, and elementary school students as well as faculty and staff – took part in the Wednesday afternoon run around campus. The competition among schools for most participants was fierce. The final count revealed that the A Gymnasium came in the lead with 121 participants! The first place winners were: Gymnasium – Stelios Stylianou and Marialena Poulka; Lykeion – Alexandros-Antonis Tsatsoulis and Paraskevi Tselekogkou; Faculty – Aristotelis Papaioannou and Christina Vlachou. |
