Anatolia Elementary School's Drama Club presents "The Emperor's New Clothes"
The well-known folktale “The Emperor’s New Clothes” is written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen about a vain emperor who becomes exposed before his subjects. It is a story about a trickster called Petra who pretends to be a weaver and convinces the Emperor that she has a magical fabric and she can make him the finest suit in all the land. Petra convinces the Emperor that the fabric is invisible and thus magic.... If you cannot see it you are not very clever. At the parade, it is revealed that the Emperor has been tricked and that he is standing wearing just his pride!
