Invitation for proposals for an RFID System at the Bissell Library of the American College of Thessaloniki
The Bissell Library of the American College of Thessaloniki plans to implement an RFID system. The objective of this project is to implement RFID technology for the Bissell Library services. All books will be equipped with a tag that includes the data and an antenna to communicate with the reader ID’s and library rod scanners. Exit sensors will replace the old security system. The new RFID security system will offer improved functionality over the previous system. The inventory will no longer need to be manually carried out. The speed of the procedure will be greatly improved enabling it to be repeated more frequently.
