STEAMing the Future
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is already here. Smart and autonomous systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data are now part of the workplace where today’s students will soon find themselves.
The STEAMing the Future program aims to equip students aged 14–18 with the essential competencies for Industry 4.0. These competencies go beyond knowledge, encompassing skills, attitudes, and values. Digital literacy, critical thinking, collaboration, inclusion, and gender equality are at the heart of the program and are closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
For the 2025–26 academic year, STEAMing the Future will take place in Thessaloniki and will include:
- In-person workshops for students aged 14–18 on December 13–14 & 20–21, 2025 (Cycle 1), and February 28–March 1 & March 7–8, 2026 (Cycle 2).
- An online repository of educational articles and videos, accessible to all.
