An Unforgettable Experience at the 58th Annual THIMUN 2026
Twelve Anatolia students, advised by MUN director Pieter Derluyn and chaperoned by Stavros Petrides, proudly represented El Salvador at The Hague International Model United Nations. Our delegation distinguished itself at the world’s largest MUN conference, with over 2,500 students from more than 200 countries. Throughout the conference, students engaged in dynamic debates on pressing global issues under the theme “Culture & Heritage: Embracing Diversity,” demonstrating exceptional diplomacy, collaboration, and critical thinking. Several of our students were selected as main submitters, highlighting their dedication and strong preparation, while others shared their concerns and solutions with their committees through speeches and debates. Overall, this inspiring journey broadened perspectives, fostered intercultural connections, and remains a memorable milestone for all involved.
