A Growing Celebration of Sport: The 7th Junior Aegean

The 7th Junior Aegean Tournament, held on February 5–8, 2026, brought four days of energy, teamwork, and school spirit to our campus. This year’s event welcomed almost 500 middle school student-athletes from nine schools across Athens, Thessaloniki, and Larisa, making it the largest Junior Aegean Tournament to date. Created as a friendly celebration rather than a competitive championship, the tournament featured matches in boys’ and girls’ basketball, girls’ volleyball, and boys’ and girls’ soccer. Anatolia was proudly represented by more than 100 athletes, while the event was supported by an outstanding student team of 100 students who served as administrators and assistant coaches. Anatolia teams played 18 games, winning 13! Our thanks go to the PE Department for their tireless planning and guidance, and to every student who participated - on the court, on the sidelines, and behind the scenes - for making this tournament a joyful experience for all.
