Anatolia College at the 1st DSTMUN

From November 2-4, 2018, thirty Anatolia College High School students participated in the first DSTMUN, which took place at the German School of Thessaloniki. Delegates discussed topics ranging from lethal autonomous weapons, anti-corruption laws, and the humanitarian crisis in Yemen in the various committees, five of which were chaired by Anatolia students.

Twenty 3rd formers and first-time delegates represented the Democratic Republic of Congo, Qatar, Belgium, France, and the IMF. The students’ excellent performance reflects the thorough research and serious work they had done prior to the conference, guided by their advisors Mr. Peter Derluyn and Ms. Eleni Kostopoulou.
