Anatolia Students Qualify for the 2nd Stage of the Edu-Arctic Competition
EDU-ARCTIC is a European STEM competition, where teams of individuals or pairs of pupils and one teacher develop an innovation or research project for the Arctic. The prize is a 6-day long arctic expedition to Northern Norway and the Faroe Islands. This year, more than 100 students from 17 countries prepared summaries of projects. After the initial stage of the competition, 50 teams were chosen for the 2nd stage. After the initial stage of the competition, 50 teams were chosen for the 2 nd stage, which takes place in March and April.
Our students had insightful ideas that provided innovative answers to problems that explorers face in arctic conditions, and all teams worked hard in developing their project summaries. As a result, this year, Anatolia College has 6 teams advancing to the second phase (3 teams from Gymnasium and 3 teams from Lykeion) with a chance to win a trip of a lifetime to the Arctic. Congratulations to all teams for their creative projects, and good luck to our six teams in the next phase of the competition!
