Greek Dance Club Performs in March 25 th Celebrations in Germany
GREEK DANCE CLUB
Twenty-nine members of Anatolia’s Greek Dance Club, chaperoned by Ms. Antoniadou, Mr. Tsapatsaris, and Mr. Haitidou, travelled to Dusseldorf, Germany to take part in celebratory events for the March 25 th celebration at the local Greek Gymnasium/Lykeion as well as the St Andrew’s church. The students performed traditional dances from all around Greece, uplifting spectators with their cheerfulness, vividness and enthusiasm.
Students also toured Dusseldorf’s main attractions, such as the well-known exhibition center, the Jagerhof castle, the Medienhafen harbor, the Neue Zollhof complex, and the famous Koonigsalle street. The tour continued in the old city center, where students learned historical facts, visited beautiful churches and the town hall, and strolled along the Rhine. On Sunday, students visited Cologne, where they visited the imposing Cathedral, the former Gestapo Headquarters, and the Chocolate Museum.
