Young Debaters Thrive at Evosmos Debate Tournament

On March 29, 2019, seven Gymnasium students, advised by Ms. Kostopoulou, participated in the 2nd Debate Tournament at the Intercultural Senior High School of Evosmos. The event gave students from the Junior Debate Club a chance to test their debate skills in a competitive environment.

Team L0G!K with Stelios Aggelides and Nicholas Papageorgiou won second place. Katerina Kourtsopoulou and Anna Zahariadou, Are we Dancers or Are we Debaters, ranked 6th, and Nicholas Galanis and George Papageorgiou, The Falcons, ranked 17th among twenty four teams. Special congratulations to Aris Tsinganos for ranking as the best speaker out of 47 Gymnasium debaters.
